Mike from Ontario, Canada sent me these two photos. Many thanks. He is the owner of two Dextas. He wrote the following:They are both diesel with live PTO, and I use blades on the 3 point hitches for snow plowing.
The 1960 was bought for earth grading on my property, and snow clearing in the winter. I just had a compression test done and the motor is still strong. New injector tips, fuel filter and glow plug. Now she is ready for winter. As it has the bucket on the front, it is not as pretty as she could be.
I wanted an excuse to get another Dexta without bucket to do a nice cosmetic restoration. The excuse was my Dad purchasing a country property with a long lane. I bought the 1958 Dexta with the excuse that it will clear snow from his lane in the winter. This tractor I bought from a farmer who owned it since 1968. It runs beautifully. It is in excellent condition, except for rust. It will be repainted over time (rims first). outcast@sympatico.ca

Mike aus Ontario, Canada gab mir diese Fotos. Vielen Dank. Er besitzt zwei Dextas. Er schrieb dazu folgende Worte: Es sind beides Diesel Dextas mit LIVE PTO und ich verwende an ihnen Schneepflüge. Der Dexta von 1960 wurde gekauft um damit Erde auf meinem Grundstück zu planieren und im Winter Schee zu schieben. Ich habe die Kompression gemessen und der Motor ist immer noch gut. Erneuert wurden die Einspritzdüsen, Dieselfilter und Glühkerze. Jetzt ist sie fit für den Winter. Allerdings könnte sie ohne den Lader schöner aussehen. Ich habe einen Grund dafür gesucht, noch einen weiteren Dexta ohne Lader zum restaurieren zu kaufen. Ich kaufte den 1958er Dexta um auf dem Landsitz meines Vaters Schnee zu räumen. Der Dexta, den ich gekauft habe, war seit 1968 im Besitz eines Farmers. Der Traktor läuft sehr gut, ist in gutem Zustand und hat wenig Rost. In der nächsten Zeit wird sie neu lackiert. Die Felgen zuerst.

Timo aus 26345 Bockhorn/Deutschland gab mir diese zwei Fotos. Sie zeigen seinen Dexta vor und nach der Restaurierung. Baujahr 1959 ohne LIVE PTO und ohne Differentialsperre. Letztes Jahr hat er mir Ihr 1800 Km (1118 miles) zurückgelegt und dabei 18 Oldtimer-Treffen besucht. Eines sogar in Holland. Ich wünsch Dir immer einen vollen Tank. fordsonschlepper@aol.com

Timo from Bockhorn/germany sent me these two photos. We see his Dexta before and after restoration. It's a 1959 Diesel without LIVE PTO and no Diff-Lock. Last year she went 1800 Km (1118 miles) and has visited 18 oldtimer-meetings. One meeting was in Holland. Always have enough Diesel fuel in your tank.

03. Februar 2007. Mark hat mit einigen Leuten eine Brennholzgemeinschaft gegründet und man hat sich einen halbautomatischen Säge-Spalt-Automat gekauft. Super Sache, da läßt sich das Angenehme mit dem Nützlichen verbinden. Man kann herrlich mit dem Schlepper und mit dem Automaten arbeiten und sorgt gleichzeitig für eine warme Bude daheim. Mark, vielen Dank für die schönen Bilder.
