Stig from Norway sent these pictures and we can see that he put much work into this pretty 1961 Lady E-Mail

Geoff from New Zealand is the proud owner of this Petrol Dexta. He was kind enough to write a few words about it. Goeff, thanks for the picture and your story about. So here it is:
"I live in New Zealand at a place called Waipahi in the south island by a town called Gore in South Otago. I got my Dexta given to me some ten years ago by a farmer how had updated to a later model Dexta. But I did not have any use for it at that time so I stored it in my garage. About two years ago I brought a farm let of twelve acres. I run sheep on it so I had a use for the Dexta finally. All I had do to it was to recondition the engine. The engine was seized by water getting in to the cylinders because the head gasket was leaking water in to the cylinder at number two & with the valves being open the water went through to number three & seized it to. The parts to repair the engine cost around $500 NZ. I use the Dexta to top the grass & for fencing on the farm. I have also reconditioned a post driver that I use on the farm & I have also made a back tray for the Dexta, which is very handy on the farm." E-Mail

Asgeir aus Norwegen. "Power to the Bauer" muß man wohl zu diesem Dexta von 1964 sagen. Wow, that's "Power to the Farmer". Stig from Norway fitted a turbo charger to a 1964 Dexta. The tractor has about 50-60 HP and rear wheels 14.9-28. Thanks for the pictures. He wrote: "Hello Stefan, my name is Asgeir and I live in Hordaland at the westcoast in Norway. I live on a farm, and my father (the farmer) also owns a 1964 Dexta . We also have a ford 4600 and New Holland 5635. My family is a real "Ford-family" :) E-Mail

Kjell from Norway: "Hello. Thank you for your picture of my blue lady on Fordson-Dexta web-site. I can tell you that I live in a little place called Løten, about 120 km from Oslo. Between Hamar and Elverum. In the eastern part of South-Norway. My Dexta is made in 1960 and has the number 957E55005. I bought her about 3 years ago. She has a lot of missing parts. I can tell you that the hydraulikk is gone, the tires are very bad, a lot of holes in them. And the back of the tractor is full of water, no oil there. I start to wash here and finding all the missing parts. The engine is good so she started up after a 2 -3 hour work. Parts are not easy to find but after a year I think , I can drive with her. I plowed with her in some veteran competation and I'm threshing with her. I have also a threshingmachine from 1947 who called "THERMENIUS" built in Sweden. I hope i can get to paint her next summer. This is the history about my "BLUE LADY" . Greetings Kjell"

What a pretty picture, many thanks to Kjell. Here we can see that the Dexta is fitted with the very rare belt pulley, which was as an extra available. E-Mail to Kjell
