Robert wohnt in Nordirland und möchte diese alte Dame restaurieren um sie wieder in neuem Glanz erstrahlen zu lassen. Danke für die Bilder ... Robert from the Northern Irland sent these two pictures and he said:"My name is Robert Crean from Northern Ireland. I got my tractor licence when I turned sixteen and was allowed to drive this Fordson Dexta. During the winter I hope to restore this Fordson to its former glory." Robert, thanks for the pictures. rcrean@hotmail.co.uk

Barry aus England hat echt viel vor, wenn er diesen Traktor wieder zum Leben erwecken will.

Barry from England: "Thanks for your offer to send my photo to the Fordson webpage. The photo shows my recent discovery, a 1962 Super Dexta, it's more or less complete although I had to resort to a Ferguson front wheel to get it rolling. There's quite a lot of work required as you can see, it's had many years hard work before it was dragged to it's intended last resting place, that is until I spotted it!! It must have been dragged by another tractor and in doing so the front wheels must have been at full lock, resulting in one wheel collapsing, hence the Ferguson replacement, but don't worry Fordson fans it's just a temporary measure I'm on the lookout for a replacement wheel, there was also a lot of damage to the front axle, but I've traced a replacement front axle complete which is good news. Regards." Email: BarryThomas06@aol.com

Hello guys, have a look at this friendly e-mail I received four weeks ago. And by the way: Sandy I hope it's O.K. to print your mail here on my website. Many thanks for your mail and the pictures you've sent.

"Hi there, I would just like to take the time to say thank you for putting all of that information on the web. It has been most useful to me while i have been rebuilding my dexta. I have attached a photo of the old girl. She was ceased (con rod bearings melted to the crank) I have just taken the engine off the stand and put it back on the clutch bell house. All moving parts within the engine and have been replaced, including the crank. I cannot believe the availability of parts. I phoned the local tractor shop one day and the crank was there the next day! Anyway thanks for the assistance. I have attached a couple of photos for your interest. Kind regards Sandy."

Philip from the USA: "My name is Phillip Fair I reside in the small town of Milton Fl. The following email pictures are of my 1957 or 1958 Fordson Dexta. I bought this tractor to use for cutting my small farm. I payed 1500.00 US it was in pretty bad shape but it was mostly all there. I wanted a good dependable tractor so I modernizied I just bit I tried to do it in such a way that it would look like it might have been built that way. I know the paint color is not empire blue in fact I used ford red and ford blue when I finished I had an antique tractor with modern dependabilaty hope you enjoy the pictures thank you" E-Mail: MFa189@aol.com
