Ralph wohnt in 65527 Niedernhausen. Ein ganz besonderes Weihnachtsgeschenk von seinem Vater ist dieser Dexta in Schmalspurausführung von 1962. Der Vater von Ralph wohnt in Frankreich und betreibt dort einen kleinen Weinbau. Da ein moderner Deutz-Traktor alle anfallenden Arbeiten verrichtet, stand dieser Dexta über 8 Jahre in einer dunklen Garage. Einzige Bedingung für dieses ausgefallene Geschenk zu Weihnachten war, das Ralph den Traktor selbst abholen mußte und transportierte das gute Stück hunderte von Kilometern auf der Autobahn. Und wenn Ihr Euch die bunten Farben anschaut, könnt Ihr Euch sicherlich denken, das der Transport die Attraktion schlechthin war.
Schaut Euch mal die Hinterachse an. Mir ist sofort aufgefallen, das an den Achstrichtern im Bereich des Radlagerflansches eine sehr dicke Schweißnaht zu sehen ist. Ferner entspricht die Aufnahme für die Kotflügel nicht dem Original. Also ich kann mich auch irren, aber es sieht ganz danach aus, das es ein Standard-Dexta war, der irgendwann in Heimarbeit zum Narrow-Dexta (Schmalspur-Dexta) umgebaut wurde.

Ralph lives in Germany. Here we see a very special Christmas present Ralph got from his father. What you see here is a "home made" Narrow Dexta, with some good craftsman ship, and welding done to her. Ralph's father lives in France and is running a small vineyard. He uses a Deutz tractor now for all the jobs on his farm. The Dexta has been stored in a dark barn for nearly 8 years. Ralph drove to France and picked it up and drove her home on the highways. If you look at the unusual paint work, you can understand why he told me that he attracted a lot of attention and got a lot of people glancing his way while on the drive back home.
Please take a look at the rear axle of the tractor. The outer ends of the axle housings are welded and note the unusual brackets for the fenders. This is why I called it a "home made" narrow Dexta. Someone did a lot of work to get her to look like this, and it had to have been a really big job.
