Jeder kennt sicherlich die originale "Owners List". Nun wurden aber für die verschiedenen Baujahre auch verschiedene Ersatzteillisten ausgegeben. Oft ist das was man gerade sucht nicht drin, weil man die falsche Liste hat. Hier könnt Ihr eine Liste herunterladen die alle Baujahre einschließt. Es sind 174 Seiten.
Everybody knows the original "Owners List". The problem is, Fordson printed different books over the years and when we couldn't find a part in our list it was because we had the wrong one. Here's the complete list, it contains every year the Dexta was made. The manual has 174 pages.
Für uns Fordson Bastler ist das Werkstatthandbuch das wohl wichtigste Hilfsmittel, in ihm finden wir Reparaturanleitungen, Einstellwerte, Drehmonente, Zeichnungen, Fehlerdiagnosen und so weiter. Das Buch umfaßt 233 Seiten und ich habe 1 Jahr gebraucht um es zu scannen. Das Buch ist in 10 Kapiteln unterteilt. Leider ist das Buch in englischer Sprache, ich hoffe trotzdem, das es Euch eine Hilfe ist.
The most important help for us Fordson hobbyists is certainly the workshop manual. Here you'll find repair instructions, measurements, drawings, faulty diagnoses and so on. It took me nearly one year to scan all the 233 pages. The book contains 10 sections. I hope it will be a great help to you. The book is in English.

(1) Folgende Situation: Du willst an Deiner blauen Dame das Ventilspiel einstellen. Ein Blick in das Handbuch und dort findest Du den Wert 0.010 inch. Aber irgendwie ist dieser Wert nicht mit Deinem Werkzeug kompatibel. Für diese und alle anderen Probleme mit fremden Maßen gibt es hier eine Umrechnungstabelle. In Deutsch und Englisch.
(1) Following situation: You want to adjust the valve clearance on your blue darling. You look at the shop manual and find out the measurement is 0.010 inches. But the given specification is not compatible with what you find in your tool box. Here's a conversion chart for all measuring problems. It's available in German and English

(2) Unter "Dexta Projekt 1 auf Seite 16" ist ein Halter zu sehen, damit werden die Hubarme zum Einstellen der Hydraulik fixiert. Berit Schulz war so freundlich eine Zeichnung davon anzufertigen. Vielen Dank.

Der Petrol Dexta ist schon eine Rarität, nach einen Handbuch sucht man wohl vergebens. Vielen Dank an Hartmut Lindner, er war so freundlich mir das Handbuch zur Verfügung zu stellen, damit ich es scannen konnte. Zu dem Buch gehört noch ein gefaltetes Poster mit einem Überblick der Wartungsarbeiten. Ich kann dieses Poster nicht scannen. Wer Interesse daran hat, kann bei mir eine Fotokopie bestellen.
The Petrol Dexta is very rare and to find an Instruction Manual is like searching for a needle in the hay. Hartmut Lindner was kind enough to give me the original Manual. On the end of the manual is a service chart poster. I was unable to scan that poster, but if you are interested you can order a photocopy.
Ab 1959 war die Dexta auch mit Allradantrieb lieferbar. Aufgrund des hohen Preises im Vergleich zum standard Dexta wurden nur etwa 70 Stück gebaut. Einen dieser seltenen Traktoren kann man in der Gallery Seite 2 bewundern. Bei Ebay habe ich eine Bedienungsanleitung mit Ersatzteilliste ersteigert. Hätte ich vorher gewußt das die Anleitung nur 17 Seiten hat, hätte ich sicherlich keine 150 Euro dafür geboten, aber so ist das Leben.
The Roadless Dexta was lauched in 1959. The price for "her" was not cheap and so there were only 70 or so sold. One of these rare tractors is shown at the Gallery Page 2. On Ebay I bought an instruction manual and part list. It contains only 17 pages and I think it was not a cheap buy for 150 Euro. Well, that's life.
