How to adjust the hydraulics, step by step !

06. März 2004. Zunächst einmal die Grundeinstellung der Feder. Die Vorspannung ist richtig, wenn sich die Feder mit einer Hand gerade noch drehen läßt. Für die Einstellungen an der Regelhydraulik geben wir der Feder noch eine halbe Umdrehung mehr Vorspannung ... The main control spring setting is correct for all normal operations when there is enough precompression of the spring to just allow the spring to be rotated with the finger and thumb of one hand. Before attempting any adjustments to the linkage the main control spring must first be adjusted correctly, and then tightened another half a turn.

Der linke Hubarm wird mit dem Fordson Spezialwerkzeug wie abgebildet fixiert (Eine Zeichnung von diesem Halter gibt es unter "Downloads") ... Use the Fordson tool to lock the left lift arm in position.(A drawing of this tool is available in "Downloads")

Den Steuerhebel soweit nach oben bewegen, daß zwischen dem Hebel (A) und der Mutter (B) am Bügel ein Spalt von 12.5 mm (0.5 inch) bleibt. Bei einigen Bügeln ist ein fester Anschlag eingebaut (C), so das hier nicht gemessen werden muß. Der Hebel wird einfach gegen den Anschlag bewegt ... Move the main control lever (A) to within 12.5 mm (0.5 inch) of the stop formed by the upper hexagon nut (B) on the quadrant. Some Dexta's have a fixed gauge (C), so that the lever should contact it.

Der Wahlhebel wird auf Zugregelung gestellt, wie auf dem Bild 5 zu sehen ... Place the selector lever in qualitrol position, as shown in picture 5.

Bild / Picture 6: Die Kontermutter lösen ... Loosen the locknut.

Bild / Picture 7: Die Stellschraube drehen bis die Lehre mit dem dünnen Ende wie abgebildet zwischen dem Block und den Steuerventil paßt, die Lehre darf nicht zu stramm und nicht zu locker dazwischen passen. Das Maß für die Lehre is 10.05 mm (0.396 inch) ... Adjust the turnbuckle until the small end of the gauge can be just inserted between the control valve and the block. The measurement for this gauge is 10.05 mm (0.396 inch).

Bild / Picture 8: Nach dem Einstellen die Kontermutter festziehen und nochmals das Spaltmaß mit der Lehre prüfen ... After adjustment, tighten the turnbuckle locknut and recheck with the gauge.

Bild / Picture 9: Den Wahlhebel wie abgebildet auf Lageregelung stellen ... Place the selector lever in Position Control position as shown in picture 9.

Bild / Picture 10: Den Steuerhebel nun von der oberen in die unterste Stellung bringen, er soll die Mutter am Bügel berühren ... Move the control lever from the upper to the lower position, it should contact the hexagon nut on the quadrant.

Bild / Picture 11: Das untere Ende des Druckstückes festhalten (A) und Kontermutter (B) lösen ... Keep the rod in position (A) and loosen the locknut (B).

Bild / Picture 12: Das Druckstück rein oder raus drehen bis das dickere Ende der Lehre ( 11.4 mm oder 0.449 inch) gerade zwischen dem Block und dem Ventil paßt ... Turn the rod until the thicker end of the gauge (11.4 mm or 0.449 inch) can be just inserted between the valve and the block.

Bild / Picture 13: Druckstück (A) festhalten und Kontermutter (B) festziehen. Nochmals die Einstellung prüfen ... Hold the rod (A) in position and tighten the locknut (B). Recheck the adjustments.

Zum Schluß die Hauptfeder eine halbe Umdrehung lösen (Bild 1) ... At last, loosen the main spring a half turn (Picture1).
