Hamish lebt in Neuseeland. Hier sehen wir seinen Petrol Dexta, der in sehr schlechtem Zustand gekauft wurde und nach einer gründlichen Überarbeitung in neuem Glanz erstrahlt.

Thanks to Hamish from New Zealand for the pictures showing his nice looking Petrol Dexta. I also like the panoramic view, seems to be a good place to live. Here's what he wrote about the pictures:
My name is Hamish Faint and I am from new Zealand (NZ) and here is a photo of our Petrol Fordson Dexta with a topper that my dad (Alan Faint) made for our Fordson Fexta. We called it Ally Font Mowers it stands for Alan Faint Mowers. Getting back to our Fordson we have just finished doing it up. It was a boat tractor before we bought it for $900 (NZ) and it was in a wreak, it needed a lot of work but we finally got it going. It is used daily topping paddocks. Goes well. In the picture there is me and our Fordson that has just been cleaned and waxed. Here is some more picture of our tractor with a hay stack on our trailer with me on top of the hay stack. Maxwell lebt in Großbritannien und hat sich gerade diesen Fordson Dexta gekauft. Der Traktor soll restauriert werden. Wer genau hinschaut, der wird bemerken, das keine Hydraulik vorhanden ist. Speziell für industrielle Zwecke oder wenn der Traktor nur als Zugmaschine Verwendung fand, konnt man der Traktor auch ohne Hydraulik ordern. Die Rasenreifen verraten hier schon, das der Traktor zur Grundstückspflege eingesetzt wurde. Vielen Dank an Maxwell für die Bilder.

Hello Stefan, I have just bought this Dexta as a hobby restoration. It has no hydraulic lift and was used to tow a grass cutter I believe, hence the grass tyres. There a few parts missing but generally ok.I was web searching for information about Dexta's and found your site. You certainly have done your homework, which will be very helpful to me during my renovation, so thanks to you! I live in the U.K. on the Isle of Wight on the south coast. Regards Maxwell Johnson.

Wolfgang von der Insel Fehmarn betreibt einen Pferdehof und da gehört natürlich auch ein zünftiger Traktor dazu um all die anfallenden Arbeiten zu erledigen. Vielen Dank an Wolfgang für die Bilder. Hier sein Kommentar zu den Bildern:
Hallo Stefan, Gratulation zur Fertigstellung Deiner "Blauen Lady".Seit Jahren verfolge ich nun Deine Restaurationsarbeiten am Fordson Dexta über Deine Hompage. Diese ist mittlerweile ein nicht mehr wegzudenkendes Nachschlagewerk. Einfach hervorragend. Ich hatte mir auf Grund Deiner Homepage vor etwa 3 Jahren auch einen Fordson Dexta zugelegt. Das Baujahr ist 1961. Die Baureihe ist aus England mit 6 Gängen als "Schnellläufer". So etwa um die 36 KmH ;-) .Abgesehen vom optischen ist er noch im guten Zustand. Der Traktor muss noch kräftig seinen Dienst tun. Er arbeitet bei uns hauptsächlich in der Heuernte. Anbaugeräte wie der Stoll Wender/Schwader wie auch der Kreiselmäher von Fahr KM22 oder die Welger AP12 Heupresse arbeiten mit dem Fordson einwandfrei. Allein die Elektrik war absolut marode. Die hatte ich komplett ausgebaut und mit Kabelbäumen neu verdrahtet. Na ja...., im Luftfilter war seinerzeit nur noch eine breiige Ölmatche. Da hatten die Vorbesitzer wohl nicht daran gedacht, auch hier einmal das Öl auszuwechseln. Natürlich war auch der Kraftstofffilter wie auch der Ölfilter fällig. Wolfgang lives on the Isle Fehmarn (Germany) and he's running a horse farm. He told me that my website was a inspiration to him to buy a Dexta, and that's what he did some three years ago. It's a 1961 model. She is not a beauty but runs pretty fine. Wolfgang uses the tractor for plowing and haymaking and all the jobs around his farm. When he bought the tractor, it was in bad condition. The wiring loom had to be renewed and the air cleaner was filled with mud. After fixing the problems and giving her a service she is good working order. Thanks to Wolfgang for the pictures.
